The Wisdom of the Colony

Honeybees mostly live in darkness, so smell and touch are the foundation of their world. They read the size and depth of each wax cell with their antennae, build comb by feel, and pass food from one bee to another through touch. Their antennae sense the queen’s pheromones drifting through the colony, a constant reassurance that she is present. Scent is the tool a guard uses to know a sister from a stranger, and it is the signal the colony uses to coordinate work and hold themselves together as a single living whole.

Within that comb lies the teaching of the hive. Every cell holds a different role, and every role holds equal importance. The brood requires constant care, the workers perform every task that keeps the colony running, the drones wait through the season for their moment of purpose, and the queen holds the community together.

The colony survives because every member is essential. They belong so completely to one another that no single bee exists alone.

I made this collection to honor that spirit. I see the hive as a living whole where every role has its place and its season.

The Five Scents

• The HIVE. The scent of sun-drenched apiaries, raw propolis, and ancient balsamic resins.

• The QUEEN. A regal, nectar-rich bouquet of jasmine, gardenia, and rose otto.

About Beeswax-Infused Fragrance

Every formula begins with a slow infusion of organic sugarcane alcohol and beeswax, resulting in a deep, natural golden hue. Beeswax absolute is incorporated into every blend, a prized material extracted from honeycomb wax to draw out the deepest, most concentrated essence of the comb. It reads as honey, tobacco, and balsam, and it is the golden thread that anchors every scent in the collection.

Because I work with natural materials and make each batch by hand, slight variations in color, aroma, and clarity may occur. This is the beauty of working with nature, and a part of what makes each bottle special.

Those with fragrance sensitivities or known allergies to botanical or hive-derived ingredients should test on a small area before use.
